Guest Book The Girls Poppy: Poppy, (Black and White) is 12 yrs and has now retired and been spayed .She is still very playful and loves all the new puppies when they arrive, she loves cleaning their faces and playing with them, but can still put them in their place when neeeded. She is still very much THE BOSS and is respected by all the dogs. She has a most wonderful loving nature and has had some lovely pups of all colours, including Maizie. OKELL Outward Bound, Sh.Ch. ZAMS Silver Dollar. She is now 8 yrs old, she has her Mum's gentle sweet nature and is loved by all the children that come in. She has had some lovely pups with the gentleness to match and follow on to the next generation. She is Mum to Gertie. Jenna: Jenna, (Orange Roan) By DANETT Solo with EMSDALE, Grandsires include, EMSDALE Royal Jester at DANETT (JW) , Ch. OKELL Outward Bound, Sh. Ch. BITCON Troubador, Sh. Ch. PALACECRAIG Go West. Jenna is a very quiet little dog, short and cobby and very different from her litter sister Sassy. She loves cuddles and has a lovely nature. She had a super litter of 9 puppies, which amazed me that she coped very well with. She is daughhter to Venus and Mum to Leo. Sassy: Sassy (Orange Roan) is litter sister to Jenna and very different in character. Sassy is the outgoing , fun loving sister, but sometimes tends to over-do it a little to the annoyance of the others. She loves the water and would be happy all day if somebody was throwing a ball for her to run after. She also has had 2 litters.. Gertie: Gertie (Black and White ticked) By, Prince Oscar of St Luke at VILROS, daughter to Maizie and Archie, Grand-daughter to Poppy, half sister to Leo. Gertie is a very gentle little girl who likes to nibble your ear if you get close enough. We call her "Tree Hugger" as she likes to cling on to your leg to get as much attention as possible and wants to make sure you can't get away! She is 1 year old. Gertie has had her first litter, of which we kept Fizz. Lexie: Lexie is my first solid colour. I had always liked the golden, but steered clear, as I was always told solids could be tempermental and not as trutworthy a s a parti-colour. Lexie has proven this wrong, as she is the most lovable, friendly little cocker ever. She loves people and other dogs alike, but does tend to be a barker!. She is By Black is Black at LOREBANK, out of ZAREEPIOTT Black Velvet at MAJESTYKA. Just a pup at the moment.......Photo's being prepared. Fizz: Fizz is our latest addition. She is a pup we have kept from Gertie's first litter, By WORLEWOOD Aint No Sunhsine.....Ohoto' s being prepared. The Boys Archie: Archie (Black, White ticked and Tan) By, DANETT Bonnie Blue, Archie has a very lovable, cuddly nature, which he is passing on to his off-spring. He has now sired many litters of most colours, except chocolate. He is 2 years old Leo: Leo (Orange and White) By Prince Oscar of St. Luke at VILROS. Leo is very much like his Dad Archie, he is bigger than his Mum Jenna, but smaller than Archie, very loving and cuddly. He is now 10 months old and still has a lot of growing up to do. VILROS COCKERS. |
My family are very special to me, they consist of myself, Chrystine, my husband, Dave, my three children, Greg, Marcus and Acacia, my nine cockers, Poppy, Maizie, Jenna, Sassy, Archie, Gertie and Leo, Lexie and Fizz, plus an aviary of about 50 birds, mainly cockatiels, finches and budgies, also 3 rabbits and 4 goldfish and not forgetting my long awaited for addition in Dec. 2005 a beautiful baby African Grey Parrot. Apart from 2 years in Shropshire, I have lived in Somerset all my life. I have been breeding cockers for 11 years. I have no more than 1-3 litters a year. Bred for health and temperament, which is a priority above anything else. |
I have had various animals all my life,and always had at least one dog. When we were living in Shropshire, we had 3 dogs, a terrier (that lived to 17 1/2 yrs), a collie and a dachshund. We also had a cat , a pet sheep, that was bought as a cade lamb for rearing for the freezer, but never got to the freezer, and a pigeon, that was rescued from falling out of a nest. ( to be released, when able to fend for herself........JOKE !!) she was too comfortable. She would drink and eat, from the same bowl as the cat, and dogs.She was always in the washing up water.........and MY BATH !!!!!! When I took the dogs for a walk, I felt like the pied piper........it wasn`t only the dogs, it was the cat , and yes, you`ve guessed it the pigeon too, and Larry the sheep would come as far as possible, and bleat until we returned. |

All VILROS puppies are sold with a Contract!! A signed copy will be given to new owner and one copy kept by the breeder. All pups have breeding restrictions placed on them.............please contact me for any details required. All breeding stock have the necessary health checks that are required of them, prior to breeding to avoid passing on any hereditary diseases. All my pups will be wormed at least 3 times before they leave. They will be KC registered and have 6 weeks insurance. They will be provided with a diet sheet, brief advice on training, grooming and socialisation, a good supply of puppy food that they have been weaned on and life-time support if needed. |
